Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Each page request makes the host process technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer and browser identifier (user agent). This keeps the website secure and running (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short period.

Your country is also derived from the IP address to send you to the matching language version. Nothing is stored in the process.

The host is based in the USA. Transfers rely on the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Frameworks and standard contractual clauses. More information: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

Fonts

All fonts are served from our own server. No connection is made to Google or any other font provider.

Quote request form

When you use the quote form, we process the details you enter: name, email address, phone number, country, service, budget range and your message. We use them only to answer your request and prepare a proposal (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The request is delivered to our team by email through Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), and you receive a confirmation at the address you gave.

We delete the data once it is no longer needed for your request, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Exchange rates in the quote form

To show budget ranges in your currency, our server fetches exchange rates from open.er-api.com (ExchangeRate-API) once a day. The request is made only from our server; your IP address and other data are not sent.

Contact by email

If you write to hello@stackvise.in, we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

Booking a call

To book a discovery call we link to Google Calendar's appointment booking. Data is only sent to Google once you click the link, and Google's privacy policy applies there (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We use the details you give when booking to hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Cookies and consent

Without your consent we only set strictly necessary cookies (§ 25(2) TDDDG):

  • locale_pref: remembers the language you chose (12 months)
  • cookie_consent: remembers your cookie choice (12 months)

Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner do we load the following services (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG):

Data may be transferred to the USA in the process; Google and Meta are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie Settings” in the footer.

Social media links

Our LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X profiles are plain links. No data is sent to these networks unless you click one.

Transfers to other countries

Our company is based in [[Country]], so your enquiries are processed there. Where that country has no adequacy decision from the European Commission or the Swiss Federal Council, the transfer is necessary for pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR, Art. 17(1)(b) FADP).

We sign a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) with clients on request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Contact us at the email address above.

You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority of your German federal state, or in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Security

This website is served over encrypted HTTPS (TLS) only.
